Beschreibung:
Inhalt der Veranstaltung:

The English Law for Bachelor course will enable students to develop their knowledge of English and increase their ability and confidence in using the language. The course will concentrate on the use of written and verbal legal English.

Lessons will be presented entirely in English. Students will be expected to complete written exercises and also to contribute to class discussions. Subject matter will be based on relevant German and English current affairs and text book exercises, enabling students to increase their knowledge of the vocabulary used in legal processes.

Towards the end of the course, students will be expected to present a five minute presentation to their fellow students. Students can choose any relevant law based topic which they wish to present and this element will form 20% of the final course mark. In addition, there will be a written test at the end of the course and this will form the remaining 80% of the final mark.
