In diesem Seminar sollen anhand von Einzelbiographien markante Diözesanbischöfe Deutschlands vorgestellt, aber auch typische Merkmale in Werdegang, Amtsauffassung sowie Regierungs- und Lebensstil der Oberhirten des letzten Jahrhunderts sichtbar gemacht werden. Hierdurch wird gleichzeitig ein Einblick in die jeweiligen kirchlichen Verhältnisse in den einzelnen Diözesen wie in Deutschland insgesamt ermöglicht.
Meine Grundvorlesung „2000 Jahre Kirchengeschichte im Überblick“ muß zuvor besucht worden sein.
