Welcoming Programs
The University of Osnabrück’s Guest Welcoming programs are aimed at helping international doctoral students, post-doctoral students and international guest professors to adapt to life in Osnabrueck in the first part of their stay in the city and to enable them to familiarize themselves with the German cultural environment outside of the university sphere.

The Welcoming Family Program helps international doctoral students and guest professors to get in touch with a family from Osnabrück and to gain insight into everyday life in Germany. The participating families have the opportunity to gain an insight into another cultural sphere as a result of the contact and communication with people from another cultural environment at a very individual and personal level.
Questionnaire for international guests
With help from the Doktorandentandem international and German doctoral students get in touch with each other and have the possibility to support each other during their PhD studies.
