Student Parliament and Student Body Government

The students have several University groups that allow them to assist in operating the University. The students as a whole make up the student body, which elects a Student Parliament once a year. The Student Parliament elects the AStA, a general student committee, as well as the student representatives who sit on the board of the Studentenwerk (student service organization). The students also elect representatives to departmental student organizations.
