| Beschreibung: | We shall introduce the concepts needed to state the Segal Conjecture on Burnside rings, which is now a theorem of Carlsson. After stating the conjecture we will see how it has been extended in various ways. In particular, these generalizations of the Segal conjecture are essential when using trace methods to approach algebraic K-theory. |
