Possibilities for Application for the Winter Semester 2012/13

The following study programs are offered at the University of Osnabrück for the winter semester 2012/13:

a) Undergraduate courses (Bachelor, State Exam)

Application deadline is 15 June / 15 July 2012 (see application information).

b) Graduate courses (Master)
Overview of all graduate courses offered for the winter semester 2012/13 >>
Please see the application information and our websites for details concerning the application procedure.
Please refer to the appropriate admission regulations (Zugangs-Zulassungsordnung; in German) to find information about special admission requirements.
Application deadline is 15 July 2012 (see application information).

c) Studienkolleg (Preparatory Course)
Under particular circumstances applicants whose school leaving examination is not equivalent to the German "Abitur" can attend a preparatory course in Germany in order to attain a subject-related university entrance qualification.

d) Kurzzeitstudium (Short-term Studies)
For the Kurzzeitstudium (one or two semester studies without obtaining a degree) non-EU applicants apply via uni-assist, EU applicants apply directly to the University of Osnabrück.
Applicants for the Kurzzeitstudium must prove that they have German language proficiency on B2 level; please see the application information for details.

e) Application for a higher semester
In general, applications for a higher semester from international students are not possible. After you have taken up studies at the University of Osnabrück, it can be reviewed whether you may be eligible to join a higher semester.
International students with foreign certificates who already successfully study in Germany and wish to transfer to a higher semester at the University of Osnabrück, may apply directly to the University of Osnabrück by sending the usual application documents (see application information).
