You can obtain an e-mail address and access to the Internet from the Computer Officer (EDV-Beauftragte/r) of your host school, department, or institute.

It is possible to use the library to read or copy materials without having a library card. If you would like to borrow books, however, please ask your German host for a duplicate of his/her library card. 

A catalogue containing semester course offerings and the addresses of all lecturers and institutions at the University of Osnabrück is available at the university homepage. The course catalogue is also accessible via internet.
