Application and Admissions for Exchange Students

Application

Students from partner universities are admitted according to simplified rules. In order to qualify, they must be planning to spend only one or two semesters in Osnabrück, and they may not earn a degree here. Unlike other international students, students from partner universities do not have to take a language test, nor do they need to have a secondary school degree that is recognized in Germany. Exchange students must simply be nominated for the exchange program in writing by their own university, and they need confirmation that they are enrolled there.

Admission

Like all other students, exchange students must formally enroll. As soon as they are nominated for a program, they must send the following documents to the International Office:

- online application with photo
- certificate of enrolment at the home university
- if desired: application for accommodation with photo

Please note that we can only handle your application after having received both the online AND the paper application!
