International students without a German secondary school degree and who are not participating in an exchange program are admitted according to special rules.

The new applications procedures make it possible to apply to various addresses. In certain cases, the University of Osnabrück will only process applications from international students when they have first been approved by uni-assist. In this case, applicants must apply to uni-assist, not directly to the University.

The applicant’s country of origin, level of education, and the particular program of study selected determine where and by when an international student must apply.
