Non-German applicants with a German Abitur (secondary school diploma), so called Bildungsinländer, are treated as German applicants. You will be admitted according to the same procedure used for German applicants. This is regardless of whether you earned your German secondary school diploma in Germany or at a German school abroad. The same rules apply to international students who have already completed a degree at a German Fachhochschule (university of applied sciences).
For the above groups, the same conditions, deadlines, and criteria applied to German applicants are valid for admission to a German university. You must apply to the University of Osnabrück using the same application form used by German applicants.
Regardless of whether you have a German secondary school diploma, international students must have recidence permit (Aufenthaltsgenehmigung) valid for the duration of their studies in Germany, and, in some cases, a visa in order to enter the country.
