LeLa Annual Conference: Student labs between sustainability, democracy and society

The LeLa Annual Conference brings together stakeholders from school laboratories, subject didactics, science communication and educational research.

The focus is on professional exchange, networking within the LeLa community and the further development of innovative extracurricular learning locations. The conference is primarily aimed at school laboratory operators, teachers and didactic research institutions.

Current research work, didactic concepts and practical examples from school laboratories will be discussed, supplemented by impulses for quality development, evaluation and sustainable anchoring of school laboratories in the education system.

You can look forward to exciting presentations, best-practice examples, poster contributions and lively discussions. We are delighted that this conference will be opened by the Minister President of Lower Saxony, Olaf Lies.

From March 10 to 11, interested parties can also take part in a research workshop. This event is aimed in particular at young scientists and researchers working in the field of school laboratory research, chemistry and STEM didactics or related areas of education. In a collegial setting, participants will have the opportunity to present their own research projects, discuss methodological issues and receive constructive feedback from experienced researchers. The aim is to further develop research work in a targeted manner, open up new perspectives and intensify scientific exchange.

The LeLa Annual Conference is organized by LernortLabor - Bundesverband der Schülerlabore e.V.,
of the Chemistry Didactics Department of Osnabrück University and the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt.
