Selamat datang! Learn Indonesian in Bandung

Our Indonesian partner university Universitas Katolik Parahyangan is offering UOS students and staff the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Indonesian language and culture from August 18 to 29, 2025. Online info will be available on June 25 at 10 am!

The program of the Summer School in Bandung includes language lessons, excursions to the Bandung area and workshops on traditional Indonesian customs (such as gamelan, wayang golek and batik). After successful participation, students can receive a certificate of achievement for 4 ECTS points and book the course as a semester language course at the Language Center.

If you are interested in participating and would like more information about the course, the registration procedure and the costs, you should register for the  SPZ 415 Indonesian course on Stud.IP. Enrolment in the course does not oblige students to participate. The course page serves to pass on information from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) about the course and to clarify initial questions from staff at the UOS Language Center.

Only UNPAR accepts final registrations. An online information event with colleagues from UNPAR is planned for Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) is a member of the INU network, the  International Network of Universities, as is Osnabrück University.
