A choral concert with exclusively Marian settings? Venerated since the seventh century as the Queen of Heaven, the Mother of Sorrows, the Pure Handmaid and much more, this figure has inspired and provided the basis for music throughout the ages. During the Counter-Reformation, Mary became "the" symbol for distinguishing between Protestants and Catholics.
The Osnabrück University Chamber Choir and Brass Ensemble will perform under the direction of University Music Director Joachim Siegel.
