Vivaldi and His Time

Concert by the University of Osnabrück Early Music Ensemble

The University of Osnabrück Early Music Ensemble, conducted by Stefan Koim, invites you to a concert of Italian Baroque music on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the auditorium of Osnabrück Castle. 

The concert focuses on works by Antonio Vivaldi, whose lively musical language and virtuosic instrumental compositions continue to shape the image of 18th-century Italian music to this day. The program is complemented by compositions by his contemporaries Giuseppe Sammartini and Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco, which bring the stylistic diversity of this era to life.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Ein Detailreiches Bild zeigt mehrere Geigen, die von Händen gehalten und gespielt werden. Der Fokus liegt auf den Geigenkörpern und den Händen, die mit den Bögen die Saiten berühren. University Choir Performs at the University of Osnabrück's Botanical Garden

The University of Osnabrück’s Unipop Choir, conducted by Aaron Bredemeier, will perform jazz, rock, and pop songs on socially relevant topics on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Botanical Garden.

Mehrere Musiker:innen spielen Trompeten in einem Ensemble. Das Bild zeigt die glänzenden Metallinstrumente, die in einer Reihe gehalten werden, während die Musiker:innen schwarze Kleidung tragen.
