A brief summary: Macbeth, a brave warrior, decides—prompted by a prophecy and under pressure from his wife—to murder the King of Scotland in order to become king himself. However, this marks the beginning of his personal downfall.
The performers are English and American Studies students who have rehearsed the play under the direction of Prof. Dr. Thomas Kullmann of the Institute of English and American Studies.
The performance begins at 7 p.m. in Lecture Hall 01/E01 (Kolpingstraße 7). Admission is free.
