Alumni conference with top-class graduates

What are the career prospects after studying Cognitive Science? Under the title "CogSci Futures 2025: From Campus to Career: Navigating Life's Twists and Turns", an alumni conference on June 6 and 7 will provide answers.

The target group are students and prospective students.  Further information and registration.
The annual conference, organized by the Institute of Cognitive Science and the student mentoring team, brings together current and former students of the Cognitive Science degree program to explore the diverse career opportunities for graduates of Cognitive Science.

Due to the breadth of the degree program and the individual focus, a wide variety of career paths can be found there: whether strategic AI consulting or neuroscientific research, ergonomics expert or founder with a focus on VR. Among the presenters will be Maren Urner (author and professor of sustainable transformation), Moritz Stefaner (multiple award-winning expert in data visualization), Manu Ebert (founder from Silicon Valley) and Julia Kaltenborn (glaciology researcher, expert in machine learning and climate activist).

The focus will be on presentations by the 15 alumni, who will share their individual career paths and the experience they have gained along the way. The presentations will include insights into careers in research, industry, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and self-employment. In addition, a panel discussion will highlight the different paths to a Doctorate. The presentations will be supplemented by smaller discussion rounds with the speakers. In addition to the professional exchange, the conference also offers the speakers and students numerous opportunities to get to know each other and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, and for the alumni, of course, to relive old memories.
