Please register for the Doctoral Awards Ceremony by June 12 at the latest!

A successfully completed doctorate is a testament to an outstanding work of scientific, scholarly research. At the same time, it is a sign of discipline, perseverance, and — ultimately — successful project and time management on the part of its author. Osnabrück University and the City of Osnabrück honor this outstanding scientific and personal achievement with a joint ceremony.

On Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11am in the auditorium of Osnabrück Castle, we will honor all doctoral candidates who completed their dissertation between June 2023 and June 2024. Families and friends are also cordially invited.

After an enjoyable program in the castle auditorium, there will be a joint walk through the city center to the town hall, where the doctoral candidates will be welcomed in the Friedenssaal. There we want to round off the happy moment with them over a cool glass of sparkling wine and good conversation.
