Phd and Postdoc Orientation on October 1 + 2, 2026
Have you just started your doctorate or postdoctorate at Osnabrück University? Would you like a better overview of the formal processes, structures, support services, possibilities for key competence courses, and practical services that can make your everyday life as a researcher easier? Perhaps you are new to the city or even in Germany and would like to get to know other doctoral candidates / postdocs? The PhD and Postdoc Orientation offers a structured introduction to the relevant facilities and services for doctoral candidates and postdocs at UOS, as well as the opportunity to meet the PhD and postdoc representatives and engage in networking. In addition, a panel discussion on “Challenges in the qualification phase and support services at UOS” and an introduction to peer consultation are part of the program. The aim is to support a structured transition into your qualification phase and to provide a solid starting point for further academic work.

- Introduction to peer consultation
