The Chair of Ancient History at Osnabrück University has various research priorities in the field of ancient social history (history of the family, gender history), politically oriented cultural history (history of the space of city and house, semantics of rule/leadership, history of everyday life), historical anthropology (emotions) and the history of science and reception.
