What are the areas of specialization?
During their studies, students choose different areas of specialization to develop their own artistic voice, explore their personal interests in greater depth, and acquire professional skills. The areas of specialization include, among others:
- Artistic Practice: Deepening one’s own creative skills in sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, time-based art, photography, digital media, and other artistic fields.
- Art History and Theory: Engaging with art history, theories of contemporary art, and media studies.
- Art Education: Engaging with aesthetic education theories, cultural education, anti-discriminatory art education, and concepts, content, and methods in art pedagogy.
- Internships, Projects, and Exhibition Work: Career-oriented internships, as well as the planning and execution of exhibitions, projects, and practice-oriented events that combine artistic and art education practice with organizational and communication skills.
These areas of focus allow for a flexible study plan that takes into account academic, artistic, and professional goals.
