Academic Programs

The Art/Art Education program at the University of Osnabrück offers a wide range of study options across various degree programs. Students can choose between a dual-major bachelor’s degree, the Master of Education for teaching at elementary schools, secondary schools (Haupt- and Realschulen), or high schools (Gymnasien), and the Master of Arts in Art and Communication.

The Bachelor’s program also offers various options—the subject can be studied as a major, core subject, minor, or in combination with Bachelor of Education and Teaching (BEU). Additionally, students have the option to take art as a third subject or elective.

This diverse range of study options allows students to set their own academic priorities and opens up a wide variety of paths for artistic, educational, and academic careers and further studies.
