Political system of Germany in the context of European Multilevel Governance

Research at the Chair focuses in particular on governance and implementation in the European multilevel system. Focal points include the role of EU agencies, the international comparison of administrative structures and processes as well as public participation, particularly with regard to challenges such as the ecological transformation and the energy transition.

The chair offers introductory and in-depth courses on the German political system and on governance in the European multilevel system. There is also a focus on policy research. In addition, courses are offered to expand methodological skills in the research and writing process.
