Social support in families and couple relationships
Short description
For many people in relationships, their partner is their most important source of support. Social support plays a crucial role in the well-being of families and couples. Shared structures of solidarity can significantly contribute to overcoming the challenges of everyday life. Our field of expertise is dedicated to researching this support and analysing, among other things, its effects on individuals' career development. We also look at the influence of social support on work-life conflicts, which often arise when trying to balance work and family life. Drawing on our findings, we aim to highlight the importance of supportive structures within partnerships for personal and professional development, as well as mental well-being.
