OsnaLex Opportunity Club: An exceptional opportunity for exceptional first-year students

Please apply as soon as you have been accepted for a place!

What is the OsnaLex Opportunity Club?

  • The funding is aimed at students who have already achieved an outstanding performance, such as a very good Abitur, and who have a particular interest in our main research areas - Europe, digitization and business law.
  • The OsnaLex Opportunity Club offers students the chance to work in one of the 20 chair teams from the very first semester.
  • A varied additional program provides insights into current legal topics and strengthens your network.

Why is it worth applying?

  • Study as an insider right from the start
From your first day as an Osnabrück student, you are - in the truest sense of the word - an insider: you have a workplace in the Juridicum or the European Legal Studies Institute.
  • A look behind the scenes at the university
    • Get to know the work of the School of Law and the University.
    • Find out how the faculty and university are organized and how your lectures are held.
  • 240 €/month for approx. 5 hours of work per week
    • 240 € from your first semester as an Osnabrück law student.
    • No commute - your workplace is right next to the lecture hall.
    • Flexible working hours - you work during the day, e.g. simply between two lectures.
    • Your own workplace, a pleasant working atmosphere and much more are almost priceless - and you still get paid for it...
  • Learning and researching with professors and chair staff
    • As a member of a chair team, you have the opportunity to participate directly in research and teaching projects.
    • Benefit from direct contact with professors and staff.

How can you apply?

Application requirements:

  • Confirmation of study place or enrollment as a first semester student
  • A-grade average (1.0-1.9) and/or other outstanding school achievements (e.g. grade skipped, special achievement award)
  • Enthusiasm for Europe, digitalization and business law
  • Interest in participating in and shaping teaching and research
