I started my law degree under the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic. However, the university made my start as pleasant as possible. Whether it was tutors, mentors or the professors, they all made themselves available and always tried to answer any questions. There is a comprehensive expansion of online portals so that everything is available. It is also possible to form private study groups and exchange ideas privately. As a modern and transparent university, every decision is explained and presented in a standardized way. This is unique (in my opinion). You also feel very comfortable at the small but excellent university, because here you are not just a student number, but an individual and valued person. In addition, you always meet new people from other schools, so you make new acquaintances very quickly and don't stay in your own school, as is so often the case. Everyone is really wanted and accepted here, because diversity is also encouraged and supported.

Studying at Osnabrück University is characterized by a very informal atmosphere. The lecturers are very close to the students and there is also great team spirit among the students. Thanks to the location in the city center, you always have the feeling of being right in the middle of everything.

The opportunity to take the LL.B. and the law exam at the same school was one of the reasons I chose to study in Osnabrück. The university gave me a lot of support during my double degree course and always motivated me to continue. As many exams and assignments are identical for the Bachelor's degree and the Law degree, I was able to get a lot of credits for both courses. The LL.B. also has a distinctly legal and demanding touch due to its affiliation with the law school and the many identical lectures and examinations, without losing the character of a Bachelor's degree course.

I made a conscious decision to study for a Bachelor's degree in Business Law at Osnabrück University. The special feature of the course is that it offers a combination of law and economics. Business law can therefore be an exciting alternative to traditional law studies. In the end, I chose to study at Osnabrück University because it gives me four semesters to gain an insight into the different areas of law before I have to decide on a specialization.
In summary, I can say that the Business Law degree course has fully met my expectations.

I am already studying in my 10th semester and therefore already know Osnabrück before Corona. Without this stupid pandemic, Osnabrück is a beautiful city that welcomes its students warmly and has a lot to offer. I was born in Hanover and know the "big city life". And that's exactly why I'm glad I moved to Osnabrück. It feels like only students live here and, especially with schools as big as ours, you can always meet someone while strolling around the city, in the popular Grüner Jäger pub or partying at Alando. But above all, you will find your fellow students in the library, in the Juridicum. This is also where the student council is based, which gives you an exciting start to your studies every year during Freshers' Week.
I miss this carefree time unbelievably, but you should keep an eye on the end of the pandemic and look forward to the time afterwards.
And I'm still looking forward to my time in Osnabrück.
