Profile
The Chair examines strategic, organisational and behavioural questions in the management of organisations. Its research focuses on innovation and transformation processes, decision-making under uncertainty, and leadership and collaboration in changing organisations.
Research
The Chair’s research combines perspectives from management, organisation studies, innovation research and behavioural management. Key research areas include:
- Innovation, transformation and strategic change
- Decision-making under uncertainty
- Leadership, collaboration and organisational behaviour
- Digitalisation, AI and new forms of work in organisations
A current research focus is the programme Dynamic Incentives, Information, and Strategic Decisions under Uncertainty (DISCU). It combines formal modelling, dynamic decision problems and empirical-quantitative perspectives on strategic decision-making under uncertainty.

Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer
The Chair combines fundamental research with application-oriented questions of management. Knowledge transfer activities address, in particular, leadership and collaboration in transformation processes, decision-making under uncertainty, digitalisation of work, innovation and organisational change. Collaboration with academic and selected external partners is possible especially in the context of research projects, empirical studies and transfer formats.
