Welcome to LaER!

LaER is the experimental research group of the departments of Business and Economics, and of the Institute of Environmental Systems Research at the Universität Osnabrück. LaER was founded in 2010. In 2014, the newly formed environmental economics research group joined LaER. The research interests of LaER researchers are in experimental and theoretical approaches to the study of economics, environmental policy, and accounting, with a focus on developing and testing behavioral theories of economic decision-making. LaER promotes the development of microeconomics, environmental economics, economic policy, management, accounting and other academic disciplines as empirical social science.

For the core staff of the Laboratory for Economics Research see  People. A large amount of research involves collaborative projects between different chairs and departments at the Universität Osnabrück and with universities abroad; see  Associated People and Laboratories.
