Vocational Teacher Education

Bachelor of Vocational Education (Economics) + Master of Vocational Teacher Education Economics

Are you interested in studying to become an economics teacher? Do you want to teach at a vocational school later on?

Since the winter semester 2025/26, students with the goal of "Vocational Teacher Education" can first study the six-semester Bachelor's degree course in Vocational Education (BB) with a vocational specialization in Business Administration and Economics in combination with a general education subject. This can be followed by the four-semester Master's degree program Vocational Teacher Education with the same subject combination. The Master's degree is a prerequisite for admission to the preparatory period of service prior to qualifying for the teaching profession (Referendariat).

Master of Vocational Education for Specialist Graduates in Business Administration and Economics

Since the winter semester 2025/26, graduates (Bachelor, Master or Diplom) in Business Administration and Economics have been able to qualify with us for the Master of Vocational Education.
