Start of studies: An overview
Welcome to the School of Business Administration and Economics!
On the following pages you will find all the information you need about starting your studies with us at the School of Business Administration and Economics.
Are you already enrolled and wondering what to do next? First of all, you don't have to do anything else and can look forward to our introductory events, which usually take place in the week before lectures start.
During this introductory week, you will receive all the important information you need for a successful start to your studies.
Our student council will also actively support you during this week: Students from higher semesters will work with you to create your timetable and explain how to use the Stud.IP learning management system.
And of course there will also be plenty of opportunities to get to know fellow students, e.g. at the city rally, which is also organized by the student council.
You will receive an invitation to the introductory events by email in good time before the start of the semester - so keep an eye on your inbox to make sure you don't miss anything!
For our first-semester students on Bachelor's degree courses, our preliminary courses in mathematics and computer science usually take place in the two to three weeks before the introductory events. The preliminary courses offer a great opportunity, for example, to brush up on your math skills, get to know the first tools and methods in computer science and make it easier for you to start your studies. You also have the opportunity to make initial contacts with your fellow students.
