Paths to a semester abroad

Osnabrück University and the School of Business Administration and Economics maintain a large number of contacts with universities all over the world. Student exchanges are also possible within the framework of these cooperations. Of course, you can also organize your stay abroad yourself (freemover).

Information about partnerships at university level can be found on the  central pages of the International Office. The International Office can also provide you with information about opportunities to complete an  internship abroad. You can find the school's cooperations on the  school partnerships (Erasmus) page.

Applying for an exchange place

Applications for a stay abroad as part of a departmental cooperation (Erasmus+) or a university partnership are possible once a year (January/February) for the following academic year.

On the following pages, we would like to inform you about the exact application process and the further steps that are important before, during and after a stay abroad.

 More about the application

Start preparing for your semester abroad early, i.e. at least one year in advance. Inform yourself in detail. You are welcome to attend the various information events organized by the International Office. Every year, the schools also hold an information event where all the options for a stay abroad during your studies are explained and, of course, any unanswered questions are answered.
