Assessment of eligibility for credit: Fachbereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften

You can take courses at the foreign university and have the credits you have successfully earned recognized for your studies in Osnabrück.

If you want to find out in advance of your stay abroad whether the courses you take abroad will be recognized after your return, you can fill out the form for confirmation of eligibility for credit transfer (PDF, 95 kB)and submit it to the relevant subject coordinator. It is advisable to submit the course descriptions for verification of eligibility for credit transfer as soon as possible after you have been accepted for a stay abroad.

Please note that you will only receive a signature on your Learning Agreement from us if you have a corresponding confirmation of credit eligibility for the courses.

Even if no Learning Agreement is required for your stay abroad, we still recommend that you have your planned courses checked for eligibility for credit transfer.

Prof. Dr. Valeriya Dinger's department is responsible for the areas of Economics/Economics and Methods (please note the information on the Macroeconomics department page). For the Master's degree in Economics (PO 2022 only), the following specializations are also assessed here: "Empirical Economics" and "Sustainability, Behavior and Environmental Policy". For the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics (PO 2022 only), the following specializations are assessed here: "Money and Financial Markets" and "Sustainability, Behavior and Environmental Policy".
The department of Prof. Dr. Bernhard Baumgartner is responsible for the field of Business Administration (please note the information on the department page Marketing). For the Master's degree in Business Administration and Economics (PO 2022 only), the following specializations are also assessed here: "Management" and "Accounting, Finance and Taxation".
For the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics (PO 2022 only), the following specializations are also assessed here: "Management", "Accounting, Finance and Taxation" and "Quantitative Business Administration".
Prof. Dr. Frank Teuteberg's department is responsible for the areas of Information Systems (Business Administration and IT) and Computer Science (please note the information on the department page for Business Accounting and Information Systems).
For the Master's in Business Administration and Economics and the Bachelor's in Business Administration and Economics (PO 2022 only), the assessment of the specialization "Information Systems" is also carried out here.

Note on the specializations in B.Sc. WiWi, M.Sc. BWL and M.Sc. Economics:

The courses completed abroad can be credited as part of the focus areas, but not for the narrower circle. The courses from the narrower circle must be completed in Osnabrück.

Note for students of the Information Systems Master's program:

For courses that you would like to take and receive credit for as part of the specific specializations in the Information Systems elective area, the relevant department will check the eligibility for credit. To do this, fill out a form to confirm eligibility for credit for each specialization and submit it - including the required documents - to the respective department head.
