Learning Agreement
An important step in preparing for a semester abroad is the conclusion of a Learning Agreement. This is a contract between you, the home university and the host university about the courses to be attended as part of ECTS. This ensures that the courses attended abroad can be credited to your degree course.
A Learning Agreement is mandatory for Erasmus stays and is usually completely digital!

If you are not planning your stay abroad via Erasmus, the confirmations of eligibility are usually sufficient. You do not need to sign a separate contract. Regardless of whether you sign a contract or not, it is important to familiarize yourself with the courses offered at the destination university before applying.
