Structure of the study program
The Bachelor's degree course in Vocational Education in the Business Administration and Economics sub-degree course (also vocational specialization in Business Administration and Economics) requires proof of study and examination achievements amounting to 95 credit points (CP). This includes 75 CP in the compulsory area of Business Administration and Economics, 15 CP in the compulsory elective area of Business Administration and Economics and 5 CP in Business Didactics.
As part of the compulsory elective area, you can choose from various modules from the fields of business administration and economics. It is important that you note the information on the recommended prior knowledge or mandatory prerequisites for participation in the respective module descriptions in advance.
Optionally, you can also complete your Bachelor's thesis in the vocational specialization Business Administration and Economics for 12 CP.

The degree course leading to a Vocational Teacher Education is organized in stages: After completing the Bachelor's degree program in Vocational Education (BB), you must complete the Master's degree program in Vocational Teacher Education (degree: Master of Education). A (new) application is required for this. The Master's degree is a prerequisite for admission to the traineeship.
Start of Business Administration and Economics - Master of Vocational Teacher Education
The degree program "Business Administration and Economics - Master of Vocational Teacher Education (LbS)" is not expected to start until the winter semester 2028/29. A description of the program structure and the corresponding regulations will be available here in due course.
Right at the beginning of your studies, you should take a close look at the examination regulations applicable to your degree course. In addition to the higher-level examination regulations, there are also subject-specific examination regulations for the vocational subject of Business Administration and Economics. The regulations contain legally binding regulations on the timing, content and organization of the respective degree course. These include information on course content (compulsory and compulsory elective modules) and examinations (prerequisites, repeatability, free attempt).
