Research funding for Postdocs (Dr. Marie-Kathrin Drauschke & Dr. Daniel Rüffer)

Acquiring third-party funding is an important part of an academic career. Successfully acquired third-party funding is not only a sign of achievement, but also offers young scientists opportunities for career development and the attainment of scientific independence. In this impulse lecture, the research consultants will present their support offers. In particular, they will point out the best-known funding formats for postdocs and discuss the development of the scientific profile in this career phase.

• Individual consultations regarding research funding opportunities for postdocs

Warum ist uns die Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses wichtig? Was liegt uns dabei besonders am Herzen? / Why is supporting young scholars important to us? What are our main concerns?

Wir möchten Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen dabei unterstützen, passende Möglichkeiten der Forschungsfinanzierung zu identifizieren und die Bewilligungschancen ihrer Drittmittelanträge zu maximieren.

We aim at supporting young academics to identify suitable funding opportunities to further their careers and make the best of their project proposals.
