Content:
The postdoc phase is a period of further scientific qualification as well as professional orientation and development. It can be divided into different phases characterized by typical activities and expectations. The lecture gives an overview of these different phases and the activities that typically characterize them with regard to the development of one's own scientific portfolio. It provides information on qualification options, career paths and funding programs relevant for postdocs.
The focus is on paths to professorship. Regarding careers outside academia after the PhD, the event will provide some impulses that can support the individual orientation process. In addition, the participants get an overview of the support offers for postdocs at Osnabrück University. |
