Post-Migrant Future Workshop

The Future—But How? On July 4, the FuturMig Future Lab will be a guest at the DFH Festival in Bielefeld

In a time of crisis and polarization, right-wing forces use categories such as origin to enforce mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion, as well as to organize and exploit societies according to racist principles. In contrast, various social models and initiatives around the world demonstrate that a society based on solidarity is possible—a society that is not founded on origin, nation, or profit, but on a shared mindset, collectively established structures, and shared visions. In the FuturMig Future Lab workshop at this year’s Denken.Fühlen.Handeln Festival, participants will explore emancipatory social models and initiatives through concrete examples. Afterward, they will collaboratively develop a model for a post-migrant, solidarity-based city of the future.

Participation in the event is free of charge. For more information on the festival program, visit  www.planetarischegerechtigkeit.de.
