This course provides a substantive overview of key fields of English Law, typically covering Criminal, Tort, Contract, Family, Employment, as well as a brief introduction to Equity & Trusts and remedies. Each field will be covered over the course of several sessions, allowing students to get to grips with key issues and learn how to understand and apply the law in the different fields. This will serve as a foundation for later FFA courses. A basic understanding of English Law and the English legal system will be assumed.
