Seminar Title: Values, morality and social change
General description: In this seminar you will learn more about the concept of morality from social-psychological perspective. We will start with defining key concepts (e.g., values, morals, justice). Next, we will cover several theories that integrate these concepts to explain how, when and why people act against injustice.
Goals of the seminar: 1) to provide you with a theoretical overview of the study on morality and in social psychology, and 2) to help you apply theoretical knowledge to better understand current societal and political events.
One or 2 students will be in charge of presenting a paper each class starting from 04/05. To help with preparing the presentation, an individual consultation will be organized (ideally on Wednesdays between 10-12h).

The seminar will be taught in English language.

Consultation hours: Wednesdays between 10-12h by appointment (email to maja.kutlaca@uni-osnabrueck.de)
