My name is Cyntia Machado and I am a history teacher in Brazil. I have a bachelor degree in History and in Law; a specialization in Public Security Policies and a Master's Degree in Labour Policies and Globalisation. Currently, I am cursing the second semester of my doctorate here in Osnabrück at IMIS. My main object of study is the domestic workers in Latin America, more precisely the struggle for better working conditions for this immense and ignored labor category. I'm very communicative and make friends easily. As a good Brazilian, I like to get people together and enjoy what life has to offer.
My name is Stevanus Listian. I am a cell biologist who are working under Dr. Caroline Barisch. Together we are investigating how lipids from the host are being manipulated to enhance the growth of the intracellular pathogen. Originating from Indonesia, I am very eager to meet and connect with fellow PhD from all over the world. I find connecting and helping fellow students as an enriching experience. As hobbies, I like to run, dance, and sing karaoke with friends. I am looking forward to see you all.
My name is Edwin Mutyenyoka, I come from Zimbabwe and I am a PhD Candidate in the Institute for Migration Research and Interculural Studies (IMIS) at the University of Osnabrück. As a member of the PhD InterConnect group, I cherish being part of projects and programs that seek to network PhD Candidates from different disciplines, backgrounds and cultures.
Esteban Durán Delgado

My subject is Developmental Psychology and Culture, and my research is about conceptions of care, parenting and attachment in low-income families, both nationals and immigrants. Results will further allow us to understand more about the interactions between the everyday challenges of parenting and living conditions.
