Beschreibung
In academic writing, we need to convince our readers of the claim we are making. In order to argue our claim, the arguments we make in the main body of the text need to be persuasive and display a plausible and comprehensible structure. In this workshop, we will focus on how this structure can be created by analyzing the components of academic arguments. We will be looking at basic principles of argumentation and discuss examples of convincing arguments.
