The impulse for the course is the 375th anniversary of the Westfalian Peace Treatise (1648) in 2023, which is celebrated and commemorated in Osnabrück with multiple events and projects. The anniversary of this eminent event calls for a scientific appreciation within and across the academic realm. Taking a transdisciplinary perspective, we will jointly explore the diverse (cognitive) aspects of and conditions for peace.
