Frontiers in Light Microscopy

Technologies Driving Discovery

The symposium “Frontiers in Light Microscopy – Technologies Driving Discovery” brings together leading scientists from across Germany, who are funded within the infrastructure initiative “New Experimental Light Microscopy for Research” of the German Research Foundation (DFG). From March 11th to 12th (lunch-to-lunch), 2026, the Center for Cellular Nanoanalytics (CellNanOs) at Osnabrück University will host all members of the consortium to present cutting-edge applications of advanced light microscopy techniques.

The event will feature final reports on the funded projects, highlighting how innovative imaging technologies enable new insights into cellular and molecular processes. The program combines scientific talks, technology-focused meet-the-experts sessions, and opportunities for informal exchange.

Researchers, early-career scientists, and technology specialists are invited to engage in discussions on current challenges and future perspectives in light microscopy.

Participation is free, but  registration is required.
