Leibniz in the movie

Philosophical Café invites you to an event at the Blue Note

On Sunday, October 5, at 11 a.m., a special screening of the film "Leibniz - Chronicle of a Lost Image" has been announced at the Cinema Arthouse (E.M.-Remarque Ring 16).

The team from the Osnabrück Philosophical Café - former university professors Elk Franke, Reinhold Mokrosch, Harald Kerber and Arnim Regenbogen - will then take part in the discussion. The Osnabrück Leibniz researcher Prof. Wolfgang Lenzen will also address specialist questions on philosophical problems.

Master director Edgar Reitz returns to the big screen and dedicates himself to one of the most influential polymaths of modern times. The top-class cast including Edgar Selge, Aenne Schwarz, Lars Eidinger and Barbara Sukowa as well as Reitz's inimitable narrative style make this historical drama a film that is as witty as it is entertaining.

Breakfast is offered from 10 a.m. (for reservations call 0541 6006525).
