Science Slam in the student center

From AI and brains to dreams and octopuses: This and much more is on offer at a science slam on Thursday, November 20, at Osnabrück University.

It's all about cognitive science from 4 p.m. in the Student Center, Kolpingstraße 1a (Building 53/E02). All students and interested parties are cordially invited.

The slam is organized by the CogSci Student Journal and the university's Writing Center. Visitors can expect an afternoon of fun, creativity and fascinating research in the form of short, lively presentations by Cognitive Science students. The presentations will be given in English.

Great honor: "Deutschland"-Scholarships awarded

56 students received a "Deutschland"-Scholarship in the winter semester 2025/26. The Osnabrück University supports particularly talented and committed students. The program is funded by the federal government and private sponsors.

Maedeh Amini honored for her achievements and commitment

Maedeh Amini, a student on the Master's degree program in Cognitive Science, has been awarded the DAAD Prize. The prize recognizes Amini's outstanding academic achievements and her remarkable social commitment.
