As part of his visit to Chernivtsi (Ukraine), Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schneckener participated in a public panel discussion on EU-Ukraine relations on October 1, 2025. He discussed the war situation, the EU's role in supporting Ukraine, and the prospects for Ukraine's EU accession with former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Rebecca Harms (B90/The Greens) and Prof. Dr. Anatoliy Kruglashov, political scientist at Chernivtsi National University. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Nataliya Nechayeva-Yuriychuk, also from Chernivtsi National University.
