Organization and Information Systems (Prof. Uwe Hoppe)

Welcome to the BOW website

At Osnabrück University, we represent the subjects of Organization and Information Systems in research and teaching. The Chair of Business Administration/Organization and Corporate Governance (BOW) is part of the  Institute of Information Management and Information Systems Engineering (IMU) and thus of the School of Business Administration and Economics at Osnabrück University.

We offer advanced courses in which knowledge is applied using practical examples. These case studies provide a deeper understanding and ensure practical relevance. In addition, we take care of the basic academic training of our students by providing them with the formal tools they need to work in an academically sound manner. The majority of our courses are offered as flipped classrooms. We thus offer students increased flexibility for their studies.

Our research focuses on digital university teaching and the digital transformation of companies. We are open to all forms of cooperation and are happy to work with companies from the regional and national economy.
