New at the institute: Romy Kemper

Romy Kemper has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Department of Quantitative Methods of Empirical Social Research and Social Structure Analysis since February 2026.

Romy Kemper is employed for the DFG research project " Who, why, how, and at what price? A mixed-methods study of caring for a sick child among working fathers and mothers", as part of which she will also complete her doctorate. She previously completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Sociology at Bielefeld University and gained professional experience at a social research institute.

Her research interests lie in the area of family and work, where she likes to focus on gender inequalities. She is also very interested in various survey research methods.
