Sports project

 GRIP - Sportprojekt

The GRIP project – Platform for Environment and Community stands for environmentally conscious and sustainable development in sport. Universities and university sports facilities were able to apply for financial support for their sustainable and social project ideas. A video by the General German University Sports Association on sustainability in sport, including a cooperation project between Osnabrück University Sports, Textile Studies, and the Technical University of Berlin. Textile Studies focused on upcycling discarded sports equipment such as old gym mats and balls. GRIP was funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV). A big thank you goes to Ebba Koglin from University Sports and Steffen Teichert from the adh film team, as well as to the students involved.
