Campus Life: An Overview

What's going on on our campus?

Here you can find the latest university news, event tips and information about the many offers at Osnabrück University.

You can attend events and workshops, get involved in committees and initiatives, campaign for a greener campus, take part in language courses and sports activities, study in the student center, use the university library and the university archive or simply relax in the botanical garden: Take a look around and see what the campus has to offer you!

New impetus for intersectional equality at universities

How can gender equality policy at universities be conceived, structurally anchored and practically implemented in an intersectional way? The 4th dialog initiative on the topic of "Intersectional equality policy" at Osnabrück University explored this question.

The nationwide LeLa annual conference at Osnabrück University will focus on how practical experiments in the laboratory can get schoolchildren excited about science. The event was opened by Lower Saxony's Minister President Olaf Lies.

You can work and meet here: The student center on the city center campus is centrally located in the triangle of the castle, canteen and extension building. There are various types of workstations, group rooms, a multifunctional room and much more on four floors!

The University Library offers you a comprehensive range of analog and digital publications and more than 1,600 workstations at its various locations. The library team also provides information and advice on the publication of research results!

The University Archive is closely linked to the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences Archive and the Lower Saxony State Archive (Osnabrück Department). The archive material is available for research by academics, students and anyone interested in history.
