For certain degree programs, enrollment is only possible after passing an aptitude test.
This applies to music/musicology and art/art education in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Education and Teaching and in the Dual-Subject Bachelor's Degree Program.

Please note that if your combined subject is restricted, you must submit your application by July 15 of each year, regardless of whether you have registered for the aptitude test.
Study Programs without Admission Restrictions
For undergraduate degree programs/subjects (Bachelor's degree programs) without admission restrictions, enrollment for the winter semester is possible by September 30 of each year and for the summer semester by March 31 of each year using the online procedure.
Study Programs with Admission Restrictions
There are admission restrictions for some subjects. For undergraduate degree programs/subjects with admission restrictions (Bachelor's degree programs/First State Examination in Law), applications can only be submitted online. The information on whether a program will be subject to admission restrictions in the upcoming winter semester will be available from around May of the same year and from December for the follwing summer semester.

A personal consultation from employees at the Admissions Office is only available by prior arrangement via email.
In order to continue your studies at Osnabrück University, students must re-register each semester. You can re-register by transferring the semester fee to the account of Osnabrück University. The semester fee consists of the semester fee plus any long-term fees (500 €). The total amount applicable to you can be found at HISinOne-Student Administration - "My studies" - "Student services".
In addition to the semester fee, further special fees (800 €) are due if you have reached the age of 60.
You are responsible for your re-registration - you will not receive a separate reminder. If you do not re-register on time, you will be dis-enrolled in accordance with the provisions of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act.
If you make the transfer on time, you can validate your Campuscard at the relevant offices for the following semester and thus extend its validity (use without interruption is guaranteed by the imprint of the current and the following semester).
Certificates of enrolment and BAföG certificates can be printed out on HISinOne-Student Administration - "My studies" - "Student services" area after re-registration.
